Job Description:/h3:
Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong business sense for strategy, operations and is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the organization. This person will prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final historical financial statements with supporting schedules, as well as financial and cash flow projections, for the guidance of management. The Finance Manager is responsible for the companys financial plans and policies, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the preparation of financial reports, tracking and managing performance to expectations, preparing budgets, forecasts and other financial models, management of gross margins, integration of acquired entities and books of business and other responsibilities. The position is a hand:on role and involves supervision over a small staff to provide general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls.
About the Role
:Support planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis initiatives throughout the company
:Provide strategic and operational support to the finance/accounting team and department heads
:Present executives and senior leadership with detailed data and analysis to drive effective business decisions
:Work and drive projects in cross:functional teams to analyze and measure the financial impact of key business decisions
:Analyze and dissect financial performance, highlighting trends and recommending possible adjustments to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency
:Develop key metrics and benchmarks to measure overall performance of Big Joe
:Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures, and analysis and report variances.
:Responsible for tax planning and compliance with all federal, state, local corporate and other applicable taxes.
Skills And Experience Required
:Super:user of Excel and NetSuite is required. Demonstrated financial modeling skills, revenue modeling and/or portfolio modeling skills
:Prior experience with systems like NetSuite and Authorize.Net is required.
:5+ years experience in financial and accounting management
:Strong analytical skills are required as you will be asked to think on the fly, create your own metrics, research issues, make evaluations on problems and recommend viable solutions
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
:Doer/hands:on mentality, team player, and strong collaborator
:Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related major is requiredpany Description:/h3:
