Job Description:/h3:
Book and Service all catering only groups, adhere to Meeting Room Free Sell Policy
Book and service all wedding/family reunion groups
Draft Proposals, letters and contracts for above clients
Oversee the final product in the meeting rooms
Develop and maintain a creative and competitive catering menu
Build relationships with current and new catering clients
Assist GM and Director of Sales as needed with administrative functions, completing reports and handling special projects.
Assist catering:only related walk:in clients and inquiry calls and all others in absence of Director of Sales
Maintain office supply/marketing material
Act as sales office computer program/fax champion
Produce monthly documents as needed in office
Ensure all office lines are answered consistently, Mon:Fri 8am : 5pm
Post meeting charges and settle accordingly
Produce weekly Resume and Reader Board packet and produce meeting room signage
Prepare Resumes for groups and submit to Director of Sales for inclusion in weekly packet
Distribute Catering Contracts to F and B
Forward Catering Contracts (and copies for all Managers) each Monday prior to Staff Meeting.
Adhere to Sundown Rule (all business attended to before end of business day)
Build relationships with new and current clients
Draft proposal, letters and contracts.
Negotiate group contract for clients
Entertain clients as needed
Prepare site inspections of hotel for prospective clients
Maintain detailed sales activities in ISAC
Create all new group bookings in Caterease and Galaxy
Oversee service and billing issues for clients/groups
Assist Group related walk:in clients and inquiry calls
Participate in weekly Sales Meeting
Attend sales training offered by PHM
Complete projects as needed by DOS
Assist in sales blitzes
Participate in Quarterly Reviews
Net down group rooms and monitor cutoff date
Cooperate in developing monthly themed sales call gifts
Assist in planning yearly client events
Participate in weekly Staff Meeting to review Resumes
Maintain Account Profiles for above Market Segments
Work late evenings and on weekends when large groups require extra coverage
Help check in large groups when front desk requires assistance
Maintain accurate files
Award SPP points for all applicable groups/meetings
Carry out reasonable requests by management.

Maintain good working relationships and be effective communicators between Sales and all other departments
