Support Technician will be responsible for interacting with employees to provide walk-up and walk-to support for IT hardware, software, and the web based applications.
Applies critical thinking to complex user requests, and provides as much context and information as possible to deliver the best solutions as quickly as possible.
Troubleshoots client-side network connectivity issues, including digital authentication, remote access, secure Wi-Fi and wired connectivity to the internal network.
Supports user requests and performs break/fix or remote installations as needed.
Assists remote users with access problems ranging from password resets to network access failures.
Support conference calls in reserved in rooms that may require assistance
Support Technician must be eager, personable and have a can-do attitude.
Full time, normal business hours Monday through Friday
Job Responsibilities:
As a Support Technician, you are the face of IT. Strong interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of empathy is a must.
Ability to organize, prioritizes, and works in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment
Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships
Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and processes
Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook™ client (Windows & Mac) and Outlook Web Access, with experience resolving complex problems and assisting users with advanced functionality.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and basic AD administration is desirable.
Working knowledge of video collaboration tools (Acano, Webex, On24)
Strong Windows 7/Windows 10 Enterprise Environment, Mac OS X Yosemite, and El Capitan, respectively
Respond to IT tickets
Break fix it issues such as can't print, vpn, access to network, etc.
Update ticket requests
Excellent customer service and communications


Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay $22/hr
