Manager of Project Controls
SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Manager of Project Controls. This role reports to Sr. Project Controls Manager and will supervise Project Controls Analysts. This is a role that combines strategic and tactical approaches to problem solving, aligning the day:to:day execution with cross functional teams towards a common goal while implementing best practices on project management with focus on planning, cost management, scheduling, forecasting, risks analysis, change management, project financials and overall project performance reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
:Manage and supervise Project Controls Analysts on required trainings, enforcement of compliance, apply rev rec standard policies and accounting accruals.
:Implement the project controls key disciplines and compliance focused on costs, schedule, risks, change management and accurate rev rec forecasting.
:Facilitate required project review meetings on a consistent and established regular cadence. Lead the project data collection to create business intelligence that highlight impacts to revenue, margin, costs, schedule, MW installation, customer billings, cash flow, procurement status, and overall project status. Biweekly and quarterly reporting of outlook, plan and changes.
:Responsibilities will include management of project financial metrics reporting and methodologies to drive project planning, execution and to provide PMO team with critical information for business decision making including but not limited to cash flow, spend and revenue curve, variance analysis, outlook vs. plan tracking and setting an accurate quarterly and annually project financials forecasting commitments.
:This role should be equally adept on project management life cycle and critical requirements to delivering a successful project on time and within budget. Promote efficiencies, maximizing margin improvements and cost reduction.
:Drive cross functional coordination on identifying project issues and resolution to increase project efficiency, accuracy of project budgets and lesson learned for future projects.
:Enforce standard WBS, policies and procedures, timely project status reporting and key protocols to providing data for reporting.
