Our client is looking for a Network Engineer for long term project in Pleasanton, CA below is the detailed requirement. Troubleshoot common VoIP issues including identifying and correcting issues with endpoints, trunks, dial plans, and profiles. In:depth troubleshooting experience and practical knowledge of Client Collaboration infrastructure, endpoint, and gateway products. Requires recent, hands:on technical experience supporting Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony services. Supporting voice and/or video end:users, coordinating with Client TAC, and telecommunication carriersA? Tier 2 and 3 support groups, tracking and escalating trouble tickets, and working with end:users. Reviewing Ethernet packet captures using Ethereal, Wireshark, etc., study network traffic flows, read interface statistics and identifying network connectivity and performance problems affecting Voice and Video over IP communications. Proficiency in the following tools: RTMT (Real Time Monitoring Tool) Wireshark VMware vCenter Client Responsible for day to day Operations, Including, Platform Services, Application Integration, Dial Plan maintenance. Operational and user issues/problem reports.Bachelors degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum of 7 to 10 years of software development experience.Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
