Job Description
Assist Dean of Enrollment and supports all departmental projects. Is responsible to plan and coordinate the Champions Weekend program which occurs four times per year. Serves as primary liaison to the Student Champions for Life branch of the Champions program.
Position works under minimal supervision, works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
1. Provides executive assistant support to Department head
:2. Executes the Champions for Life Weekend : organization, communication and execution
:3. Supports Student Champions for Life Program and Champions for Life doctors
:4. Assists department head with all/any departmental project as requested
:5. Prepare check requests and credit card reports for department head(s).
:6. Manages and maintains marketing inventory and office supplies
:7. Staffs campus events as needed.
:1. High School Diploma or equivalent
:2. 3 years of administrative assistant work experience and/or service industry experience
:3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows; Word, Excel, Access, and Act
:4. Type 45 wpm with high degree of accuracy

:1. Excellent telephone skills
:2. Excellent grammar, written and oral communication
:3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as a team member
:4. Professional front office demeanor
:5. Able to problem:solve and make independent decisions
:6. Able to coordinate multiple tasks/projects in a fast paced environment
:Preferred Qualifications
:1. 1 year of experience with event management
:2. 2 years of experience in customer service
:1. Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment.
:2. Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set:up and maintain work files.
:3. Must be able to lift 25 lbs., retrieving and placing materials on high shelves and on floor:level shelves; standing, walking, carrying, grasping, hearing, seeing, sitting, kneeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
:1. Work performed in a general office environment.
