Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Service Administrator at our San Leandro, CA loction. The person in the position performs administrative and clerical duties in support of the departmentA?s equipment service function and coordinates the departmentA?s scheduled service activities. Handles responsibility of achieving and maintaining current work orders ensuring work orders are closed according to company directives and guidelines.Calculates and verifies time card hours; enters time into system; reconciles labor recap and works closely with payroll as needed to resolve any discrepancies.Handles all electronic billing for the department. Works with electronic service operational reporting tools to ensure service work in process (SWIP) and other service information is maintained and updated. Performs data entry for all service work; opens jobs as directed, reviews and verifies accuracy and completeness of work orders; makes corrections as needed; updates and maintains on:line system work orders; closes jobs as notified.Establishes and maintains electronic and hard copy files and filing systems; sets up and maintains service reports, records and schedules as needed or requested by service supervisors.Provides other clerical and administrative support to as may be needed, such as: job quotes, purchase orders and other related documents or reports requested.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one additional year of related training, and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
