Sales Coordinator, San Francisco, CA
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for growing the companys Non:Japanese logistics business in the San Francisco area as well as neighboring states. The Sales Coordinator must find and develop qualified leads, whether through the coordinators own clients, networking or by cold calling, then convert them through the sales process into prospects, and then into our customers.
The Sales Coordinator must be highly motivated individual, pro:active, results driven, hardworking and have a strong mind set to grow the business, along with a strong Air/ Ocean/ 3PL Segment, (NVOCC) knowledge.
:Find and develop qualified leads, then convert them into customers of MOL Logistics (USA) Inc.
:Performs visits to qualified prospects in accordance with Management directives, to drive the business and grow the companys revenue, and profitability.
:Builds relationships at all levels and represents MOL Logistics (USA) Inc. in a professional manner.
:Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by management
:Able to handle a large size US Customer contacts
Education and Experience
:College Degree preferred ideally with major in
business/marketing, logistics and or supply chain management, or equivalent degree.
:At least 5 years experience of sales within the Freight Forwarding industry (Ocean, NVOCC, air freight both import and export) preferably within a Japanese cultural environment.
:Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong sales approach.
:Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Office, Power point, Internet, etc.)
:Having worked in the past for a Japanese Freight Forwarding organization, or a Japanese based company is preferred, but not mandatory.
:Must have a valid drivers license
:Have the ability to travel Domestically and Internationally
Since the San Francisco office is small, running with 3 to 4 employees, the Sales Coordinator will need to have the flexibility to cover operational duties from time to time, in the event of large volume of business, cover employee using PTO time
MOL Logistics (USA) Inc. offers a comprehensive benefit package including, medical / dental and vision plans, 401K, paid holidays and PTO time off. As well as Bonus / Salary increases based on the company results. Will also be awarded a company car for business purposes.
80,000 per year with 10 commission or 70, 000 per year with a 15 commission, depending on experience and potential revenue and profit brought to MOL.
Annual Bonus payment depending on company results.
Annual Salary Increase based upon employee evaluation.
