Position Scope:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager must represent the company in a professional manner that promotes an environment which creates opportunity for Boral Roofing to sell products by developing and maintaining consultative relationships with customers and prospects in the following Boral Roofing defined segments; Distributors, Custom Home Builders, Roofing Contractors, Regional and Local Production Builders, Multi:Family Builders, Architects and Colorists. Territory Managers must develop a thorough understanding of the needs of these segments and key customers within the segments.

Position Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities are grouped into three main areas:
Sales and Territory Management:
1. Sell Boral products and services in the assigned territory to achieve targets/quotas by representing the companys products in Boral Roofing defined segments.
(a) Work with architects and designers so that, wherever possible, the companys products are specified in the original planning documents.
(b) Interpret data obtained from lead generation, industry/market data, research, and other reporting
(c) Consistently drive product performance to achieve market share, sales growth and ASP
2. Develop and maintain territory plans to achieve company and regional business plan objectives and sales goals as provided by the Regional Sales Manager.
3. Establish and maintain positive customer relations by regularly meeting and consulting with current and potential customers
(a) Build a strong rapport with key decision makers within customers organizations
(b) Participate in local building and roofing associated trade shows
(c) Be well versed in customer business operations and their need for products, intangibles, key personnel and customers
4. Provide information concerning marketing opportunities and competitive products and companies to regional and corporate managers
(a) Recommend changes in company products, practices and marketing activities to capitalize on current competitive situations in the territory
5. Operate territory business within a given expense budgetary limit
6. Maintain company automobile and other property in good repair and follow company safety and safe driving policy.

Customer Service and Support:
7. Manage customer complaints in accordance with company policy
8. Coordinate with accounting personnel to keep customer accounts receivable current
9. Provide technical advice to current and potential customers through:
(a) Distributing technical literature
(b) Arrange demonstrations and training sessions

Y Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other related field.

:Knowledge of roofing products and components
:Excellent Interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels

:Strong desire to expand knowledge, skills and experience
:Understanding of finance, accounting and budgeting principles
:Proficient with and Microsoft Office software required, SAP enterprise software desired

Work Experience
:3+ years of sales management experience selling products to wholesale, builders or contractors
Licenses or Certificates
:Employee must posses a valid drivers license

Physical Demands
:General Office Activities : Walking, Standing, Sitting, Talking, Typing, etc.
:Lifting heavy materials; up to 50 lbs

Mental Demands
:Enthusiastic, Self:Starter, Ability to work within a team environment

Must have the ability to:
:Communicate effectively and tactfully with customers, managers and other levels of personnel, in person and on the telephone
