Job Description Manage and coordinate all aspects of Fire Alarm Life Safety projects, cradle to grave, including: project site meetings (pre, during, and post construction), client communication and coordination, scheduling manpower, and material delivery. Oversee all Pre and Final Life Safety testing. Directly manage all Field Manpower. You will provide project scheduling, assist with procurement activity, installation, budget, billing, pre and final inspections. Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Fire Alarm Life Safety systems. This position requires a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Electrical background and working knowledge of field operations. Must be savvy in reading and interpreting Construction drawings, reading and interpreting specifications, working knowledge of NFPA 72 (adopted version) and have Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attitude, work ethic, loyalty, work quality, MS Office, organizational and communications skills are a must. NICET Level II certification Lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds Must have a clean criminal record, valid driver’s license, favorable DMV report, pass pre-employment drug screening. Qualifications: Ability to Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects for small, medium and large, from award through completion of project. Including: overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget as required by the contract. May handle multiple projects simultaneously. Supervision of installation labor and subcontractor’s preparation of project schedules, subcontracts, change proposals, project invoices, and assists in collection efforts on projects. Reviews & manages site installations and work. Translates a wide variety of customer needs/requirements requiring originality and ingenuity into detailed proposals and project plans to meet customer requirements. Proactively communicates project requirements to project team and wider organization as when required and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports. Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services and controls necessary for timely and cost effective completion of project within budget. Establish project milestones and analyze costs; comparing actual vs. estimated job cost and provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on the project; adjusts or corrects project plans and/or project cost estimate as necessary to meet financial goals. Manage the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contract including cost control, delivery fulfillment and quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise. May have direct reports and perform limited range or managerial responsibilities including but not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
