Job Description:/h3:
Project Manager: New Systems
As a project manager, provide project leadership from conception through product commissioning. Perform
all aspects of project management from contract review and acceptance through system design
coordination, implementation, and verification. Guides the technical aspects of work done in relationship to
system installation. Including order preparation, progress reporting, documentation, and installation
coordination. Work includes making frequent trips to project sites to field verify site conditions, attend
construction meetings and provide technical assistance, which would require availability outside normal
working hours. Requires independent interpretation of requirements and discussion of problems with
various employees and customers.
Ideal candidates must possess the following in order to perform the functions of the job:
:Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management discipline or 10 years of equivalent field experience.
:Basic understanding of NFPA standards and related codes.
:Solid verbal communication skills needed to accurately describe problems and communicate with
:customers. Knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel.
Preferred qualifications include:
:Five years industry related experience or education in the fields of fire protection, life safety management, or other related special hazards protection.
