California Security Alarms, one of the nation's largest independently owned alarm companies is seeking to immediately hire an experiencedService and Installation Technician.
We pride ourselves in being able to serve the Bay Area and prove every day that we love being there for our clients.
The area covered includes the 9 San Francisco Bay Area counties. Position is based out of our San Ramon office.
+ Provide service and installation support for burlary alarms, fire alarm systems, video and access control.
+ Use meter text tools and install equipment to troubleshoot, install and repair.
+ Position involves climbing tall ladders, occasional working in confined spaces, and carrying loads of up to 50lbs.
+ This position works in a supportive team environment under defined reporting systems
+ Daily communication with management, the office and fellow technicians.
+ After normal business hours service calls and scheduled weekend services (when required).
+ Minimum 2 years experience in installing and/or servicing alarm systems, 4 preferred.
+ Solid familiarity with the following systems is sought: Honeywell, DMP, GE., Napco
+ Experience servicing Fire Alarm Systems a plus (Firelite, Silent Knight), as well as Video and Access Control.
+ Premium paid for networking skills, and/or Calif. Fire Life Safety Certification.
+ Good communication skills -- both written and verbal.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Positive and friendly customer service attitude.
Employees provide hand tools and battery drill. Company provides ladders, power tools, and programmers, truck and cell phone.
