Job Description Boston Barricade Company is the nation's leading provider of modular construction enclosures and graphics systems. The Service Center Manager plays a vital role in the execution of barricade and graphic installations and the cultivation of positive customer relationships. The Service Center Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, by managing the delivery of exceptionally built barricades and perfectly installed graphics. The position requires proactive communication with mall management as well as the ability to address and resolve service related issues in a professional and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Maintain strong relationships with shopping mall management, by engaging in proactive communication and providing exceptional customer service. Coordinate modular barricade and graphic installations by communicating with Boston Barricade project managers, mall operations directors, mall security, and general contractors. Review storefront demolition and construction plans prior to each barricade installation, to ensure that the barricade design meets both the contractor's needs and the mall's barricade construction protocol. Hire, train, motivate, and manage staff with a focus on maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and safety. Execute administrative duties, including processing completed work orders, employee time sheets, and posting completed job photos to an online database. Purchase and inventory all stocks items, including tools, building materials, and cleaning supplies. Manage the repair, cleaning, and inventory control of all barricade panels and accompanying hardware. Manage service trucks, including validating fuel receipts and scheduling vehicle maintenance. Implement safety and training programs for service center employees, including but not limited to OSHA training. Requirements: The preferred candidate will have a work history as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent in retail construction or commercial construction or related position in this field. Previous work as a project manager a plus. Hands on experience with a multitude of construction related tools, construction equipment, and hardware is necessary. Excellent oral and written skills, as well as basic proficiency of Microsoft Office products are required. Ability to read construction blue prints and store elevation drawings is required. A degree in Building Construction Technology or similar, or 5 years minimum work experience in the field of retail construction or commercial construction is preferred. The preferred candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
