Contact info 831 338 8990 or danceramber@sbcglobal.net At the Boulder Creek Recreation, 13333 Middleton St. 15 minutes from Felton, or 10 minutes from Ben Lomond a link to Almost all the Line dances I teach in my classes: //www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=481D28BC137925A9 ********************************* My background to dance. I always wanted to learn how to dance. But, lacked the confidence patience and coordination to do it. As a child I could not focus on the ballet instructions or Tap. At 19 I stumbled across Cheers in Sunnyvale an 18 and over bar in the mid 90's. I thought to myself "I hate country music, but I don't need a partner, and I can come here by myself and learn!" So I did! I was not fast at picking up the dances as it took me 3 months to learn my right foot from my left. Soon I was asked off the floor to do couple dances. Which I loved! I took private lessons from Helen Voss and Richard Kear. Went to dance conventions with dance workshops. I learned west coast swing, east coast swing, cha cha, night club two step, country two step, hustle, salsa, maranga, ..... anyway the more I learned the more I realized how it all dove tails together. It makes since as your body can only do so much. The more active I was the more I saw how dance is all is related. I auditioned for my church dance team and did a performance that was a mixture of modern, ballet, and Jazz. So, I learned what I thought I could never do and did it. I really think A LOT of people can learn to dance but have a hard time with letting others see them as they are feeling awkward at learning. I think that is tragic! ... to not dance in life. It is such a wonderful form of expression of feelings! I would be lost without having dance in the Arts. • Location: Boulder Creeek Rec
