November 11th, is "st martins" day, a celebration of light and in honor of the saint st martin, who cut his jacket in half with his sword to donate it to a homeless man shivering in the cold. At supperclub, infamous of doing things slightly different, we like to continue this tradition and celebrate this Dutch Halloween night. Instead of candy we give you a shot of Lotus Vodka. Lotus Vodka donates a part of its revenue to a good cause.

It will be a dinner celebration existing of a 3 course set menu ($35), an after party (free), an art exhibition by Debi Tonge, Karaoke, candies, performances and more...

Lost Blue Canon camera late Halloween night, either at The Endup or in a cab...

I lost my beloved blue Canon SD1100 camera late night on Halloween. The last time I remember seeing it was at The Endup, where I took a photo there. After that, the only other place we were was inside a cab on the way home.

If you have any information about this camera, please please let me know! The memories from such a great Halloween are irreplaceable, and I would love to get those photos (and my camera too!) back. Look for a girl dressed up as Lady Gaga, in all white with a big hair bow on her head.

Thank you so much!

Light Prayers are life-changing, yet very simple to learn. Just use your inner vision to see God as Sacred Light for healing and protection. Here are some people’s responses to doing this:

“Our work together with Light and prayer was an amazing experience that provided me with a great deal of comfort and insight.”
S. S., Boulder, CO

“I so appreciate your efforts to raise the consciousness of this precious planet. You help so many to shine Light and wisdom on this world.”
T. N., Sedona, AZ

“I’ve used a morning prayer daily that Anita offered me several years ago. As a psychotherapist, it helps me draw my strength and centers me for the day. It reminds me that I can call on Guidance each day and throughout the day as needed. Anita is truly a messenger of Light.”
P. B-C., Sonoma, CA

“Anita’s prayers have helped me awaken to the possibilities in life that God can help make real. Use the prayers. They make the difference between a life well lived, and a life barely lived.”

10/30, Psyche and Cinema: Bride of Frankenstein

The Dream Institute presents:

Psyche and Cinema: Bride of Frankenstein

Friday, October 30, 7:00pm-10:30pm, Berkeley

MORE INFO: http://dream-institute.org/

James Whale's 1935 cinematic gem brilliantly combines subversion, pathos, and satire to express the heart wrenching love story at its core. Bride testifies to the human search for belonging and struggle for control between ego and id, and is driven by iconic performances, glorious art direction, and timeless storytelling.

The film's greatness transcends the horror genre. Whale deftly mingles Christian creation mythology, a homosexual subtext, and a trenchant parable about technological mania as harbinger of a devastating loss of soul. Beautiful, haunting, and darkly comic, Bride of Frankenstein is the crown jewel of its kind.

Please join us the night before Halloween as we view and discuss this extraordinary film for its depth psychological and mythic dimensions, unpacking key scenes to examine specific symbolic and archetypal material.
