Estelle Toby Goldstein, MD will present a hour-long session covering the latest research on various ways women can seek relief from the symptoms of menstruation and menopause. Dr. Goldstein hosts the meeting in her office at Alternative Medicine of Northern California, 1416 Tennessee St, Suite #6 in Vallejo on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. There will be time for questions and answers afterward.

The meeting is free and open to the public, but limited to women over the age of 18 because of the frank nature of the topic.

Reservations are required. Simply phone the office at 707-554-1000. Seating is limited because of the size of the office, so make sure you RSVP.

"The curse of Eve may finally have been vanquished," Dr. Goldstein said. She brought herself through menopause with natural substances and over-the-counter remedies, and has been advising women on similar strategies for years.

"Studies have shown that the discomforts of premenstrual symptoms and of menses themselves respond to medical cannabis. Many patients have told me their professional and personal lives have improved with its use," she said. "Other non-prescription and non-pharmaceutical treatments will also be discussed, and case histories presented," she added.

Dr. Goldstein is a former drug researcher involved in FDA-approved clinical trials. She has been a college professor in two different medical schools in the Midwest, and was a general and orthopedic surgeon, a neurosurgeon and neurologist before switching specialties to psychiatry and psychopharmacology. She is board certified for life with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

She relocated to Vallejo in early October of this year and joined Alternative Medicine of Northern California as Medical Director.
Alternative Medicine of Northern California is dedicated to the ethical use of Medical Cannabis in strict accordance with state law and Medical Ethics and Guidelines.
